Thyroid Butterfly - Original & Print

I was in Venice, California when I knew something wasn't right with me. I was 20 years old and had no energy. When my friends wanted to party and stay out late, I couldn't wait to go to sleep. After numerous doctor visits I finally found out I had a low thyroid, and ever since then I have been fascinated with this gland. Besides how amazing it is for our overall health, as a living organ it is beautiful. I've brought it into my imaginary world to remind me of how important of a being it is.
